DC3145 Silicone Sealant Adhesive Original Packaging

Dow CorningDOW CORNING 3145 RTV sealant cures at room temperature by reacting with moisture in the air. During the curing process, it does not release heat and is non-corrosive to products. It can be used for electrical or electronic equipment sensitive to corrosion, as well as in applications where acetic acid-curing, single-component silicone rubber cannot be used at room temperature.

DOWSIL™ 3145 adhesive/sealant is a single-component, ready-to-use product that requires no mixing, heating, or additional solvents. Due to its non-sagging properties, it can be applied to seams or joints on overhead or vertical surfaces. This product exhibits excellent adhesion to glass, various metals, and silicone rubber. To ensure superior bonding on plastic surfaces, a layer of DOW CORNING® 1204 primer can be applied.

Once fully cured, DOWSIL™ 3145 adhesive/sealant offers high tensile and tear strength, excellent resistance to moisture, corona, ozone, and weathering. It maintains good electrical insulation properties and excellent thermal stability over a wide temperature range. It can operate continuously at temperatures up to 200°C and withstand short-term exposure up to 315°C. It remains flexible even at low temperatures as low as -65°C. This product is available in two colors: gray and clear. The clear variant can be used up to 180°C, while the gray variant is suitable for use up to 200°C. It is primarily used for bonding and sealing terminals in electrical or electronic equipment, sealing connectors, and assembling PWB modules. It is also applied in the aerospace industry for internal and external seam and joint bonding and sealing, as well as for securing components on windows, wings, automobiles, and ships.
